design should serve people FIrst
Whether designing a home that feels deeply personal or a community space that fosters connection, our work balances beauty, comfort, and function. At every scale, we aim for an architectural approach that feels alive, honest, and meaningful.
I dream of projects that tread lightly on the planet, blur the indoor-outdoor boundary, and celebrate honest materials.
I pursued the study and practice of Architecture after an education and career path in international relations, human rights, and development work. I leverage my skills as an Architect to tackle pressing issues of our time, including housing affordability, homelessness, trauma, disconnection and stress.
“Yes And Architecture” - what’s with the name?
“Yes And” evokes the improvisational nature of collaboration and the trust that we build along the way. You won’t hear us say “No.” Instead, “Yes… and… (how about this?).” The best projects are the ones where you bring your ideas to the table right along with ours - and through drawings and questions and more ideas, we end up with something better than either of us could alone. 1+1=3.
Let’s talk.
We start simple with a conversation - what are you hoping to do? Why are you hoping to do it? We’ll talk about your site, your goals, your timeline, and your budget. This is where we decide if we’re the right fit for each other. If we are not the right fit, we’re happy to make a referral.
